J I don't know how Ross Bencina decided to come up with AudioMulch. I don't know why he wants to spend hours listening to people wish that he could single handedly implement about 2 million features a day. I don't know why he's so attentive to bug fixes. But he is. And in this mixture of technosonic altruism and manic coder mentality -- Ross has created AudioMulch.
How can one explain AudioMulch?
I will not try here. I will only tell you that a global community that feeds only on Mulch and water has sprung up around it and I happen to be a member.
The members of this group have created live and studio music using mulch. We dream about it. We shower with it. We are addicts.
And now, we are producing a few compilations. The first one is on MP3.com at the link at the top of this page. Later ones will be follow. There will likely be no end.
